After the "whoosh" of the holidays, 11 Transit Traders met in the New Year.  We eased into the meeting as members enjoyed chatting and catching-up with each other.  8 Artists traded.

Planning ahead, we discussed meeting for lunch prior to the Transit Trader meeting in May,  We agreed to consider this further at the March meeting.

Nicole did a demonstration and workshop of a new technique - using baking soda, vinegar, watercolors, and a pipette.  Thank you Nicole!
Some Artists brought in ATCs from past mail swaps to share.  Each Artist chose one to use as inspiration for a new ATC.

With the New Year, we started a new challenge for 2016 - Countries.  The first ones were the United States and Canada.  

Our "regular" trade was comprised of ATCs using the backgrounds we swapped at the September 2015 meeting.  It is always so interesting to see how each person designs the same foundation differently!

For the next meeting, please bring:
* Challenge : (1) ATC inspired by an ATC obtained from a mail swap (bring both to share)
* Challenge : (1) ATC with the baking soda, vinegar, & watercolor technique demonstrated by Nicole
* 2016 Countries Challenge : (1) ATC for England and (1) ATC for France
* Regular Trade
* JAMS

The next meeting will be on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1pm.
