Happy New Year! 14 Transit Traders and 2 guests braved the elements. Despite the below freezing temperatures, spirits were high as evidenced by the giggles and laughter. It was great to see everyone!
After introductions and announcements, we did our show and tell of the 3 challenges. Some people combined two or all three challenges in a card. The innovation and creativity were impressive. We then did the blind trade of the 2015 Calendar ATCs.
Sue demonstrated and we then workshopped a new technique called "Using Rubber Stamps as Tools." Combining rubber stamps with solid and print images, we were able to create some really unique images. Thank you to Sue for showing us a new way to use our stamps to make a variety of effects.
Our challenges for the next meeting are:
1) Create an ATC from an image created by "Using Rubber Stamps as Tools"
2) Create an ATC with cancelled postage stamps
3) Bring (1) ATC for March and (1) ATC for April for the blind 2015 Calendar trade
Bring your ATCs for the standard trade and any JAMS.

To not interfere with Open Studios at the Transit Building, we decided to change the meetings to the third Saturday of the month rather than the second. So, the next meeting will be on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1pm.
