May 17, 2014

The sun was shining and the temperature was pleasant as we met this month.  11 people were in attendance.

Jenn collected the final framed ATCs for the exhibit at the bookstore in Franklin.  About half of the members are participating.  It will be exciting!

Carol demonstrated how to make your own Washi Tape!  Thank you Carol!

By singing Happy Birthday & distributing Birthday ATCs that we made, we celebrated the May & June birthdays of our members.  Happy Birthday to Barb, Lisa, Sarah & Nicole!

We did a show & tell of our 2 challenges from March: 1) Using a stencil as demonstrated by Sue and 2) A Mystery Image.  Such awesome results & creativity!

A different and new element to the meeting was that we took some time to play.  Transit Traders brought in stamps & ink pads to share with each other.  It was fun to go around to each station and create "new" images.  It was so popular that members want to do it again in July!

Linda will be running the next meeting and will also be doing the next demonstration/workshop: Working With Gelatos!

Our challenges for the next meeting, July 12, 2014 at 1pm are:
1) Make an ATC using your own Washi Tape that you made
2) Make an ATC with a stamped image that you made in the meeting

Be sure to bring: your regular trades, JAMS if you have any, and a nature-themed stamp to share with an ink pad.  Bring blank card stock too!
