NOVEMBER 16, 2013
Our meeting on Nov. 16th went well. 12 people, all familiar faces, were in attendance. 7 were absent; 2 traded by proxy. We discussed the successful Exhibit at the Mosaic Café in October and passed around the Artist Bio Book and the Guest Book for people to see. Thank you to everyone for your contributions! It was a team effort and a team success!
We discussed the invitations we have had to participate in potentially 2 more exhibits with our 51 framed ATCs - the Graffiti Gallery in December and perhaps the bookstore in Franklin in February. Everyone is in agreement to participate in the show in December. The Fiber, Fabric, and Paper exhibit in December will involve a nominal hanging fee which will be covered by a generous donation made earlier this year. The curator will display all 51 ATCs to fit the space in the Graffiti Gallery. It should be interesting! More details are needed for the bookstore in February.

Sue Spencer demonstrated and workshopped "How to Make a Masterboard." Thank you Sue!
We did our show and tells of our Thanksgiving ATCs followed by our regular trade and our JAMS.
The Challenge for next time is to make an ATC using your Masterboard for a show-and-tell. Sue Spencer has volunteered to do another demonstration/workshop which will be for heat embossing. The next meeting is set for Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1pm. The room is to be determined.
We also agreed to make "Birthday ATCs" for each other for the year of 2014 (!!!). For the next meeting, we will focus on those who have birthdays in January and February. You can make an ATC with the theme of "Birthday" or you can customize it to that person (to include interests, etc.). This will be fun! Thanks Vicki!
So, for the meeting on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1pm, please bring:
-Necessary items for the heat embossing workshop/demonstration (check your email for updates)
-An ATC using your Masterboard for the Challenge for show-and-tell
-Birthday ATCs (for those who have birthdays in January and February)
-Your ATCs for the regular trade
-Your JAMS
Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!!
