Welcome to the Transit Traders website! We are a group of artists who love to get together every other month to swap Artist Trading Cards. We meet in Oil City, PA and we would be delighted to have you join us.
January 23rd Meeting
Fifteen Transit Traders were grateful for a mild winter as we traveled the winding country roads to the Transit Gallery. Our meeting began with a presentation of the the Crayon Sandpaper Transfer Technique by Karen Hughes. (For more on this technique, see the Technique section on the sidebar.) Karen graciously provided a kit of supplies for each member along with her demonstration. Marilyn Karns made us all laugh by bringing edible ATCs to share with everyone; the chocolate frosted rice crispy treats were delicious! We continued by sharing and trading our Winter and Valentine ATCs. Then members who are participating in the Altered Playing Card Challenge swapped our four altered Ace cards. Finally, those members who brought JAMs backgrounds exchanged cards and it was decided that we bring them to the next meeting.
